Associate Vice President for Planning and Treasury Operations
Liz Reynolds joined WVU’s Office of Budget Planning in 1993 and currently serves as associate vice president for planning and treasury operations. To improve the efficiency of and relationship between the University’s strategic objectives and financial planning, the Division of Planning and specific sub-units from the Finance Division were merged to create the Division of Planning and Treasury Operations in 2006. Reynolds was appointed the first associate vice president of this division.
Reynolds is responsible for development of and monitoring the University’s $900 million budget. She is also charged with managing cash and related assets and leadership of banking relationships, investments, debt, budget, and institutional research. Her division provides a variety of budget reports and institutional analyses.
Reynolds has held leadership positions in budget planning, finance, and human resources. She earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Business Administration from WVU.
